Whaaaaaat.....“I became gay after my father’s friend raped me” – 23 Year Old Nigerian Man Reveals.

23 Year Old Nigerian Man Reveals
A 23-year-old Nigerian man, identified simply as Femi who was among the 42 homosexuals arrested in a Lagos hotel in July has revealed that he became he became gay after his Father’s friend raped him.
23 Year Old Nigerian Man Reveals
According to him, they were celebrating a birthday with friends which ended when they were arrested as they were charged with engaging in “gay activities”. Femi spent a month and two days in jail.
According to ABC Australia, since his arrest, Femi has been kicked out of home and now shuttles between “friends’ lounges and lovers’ beds.”
He has lost his job as a cleaner, left his studies at university and had sex for money to help pay for a ticket to Ghana where he hopes he can slip into obscurity.
Femi says he “became gay” at 14 when he fell in love with the man who raped him, an older man who was close friends with his father. He kept the relationship a secret until his father accused him of being “gay and acting girly”.
“When he was angry he would start flogging me,” Femi says.
“Any mistake and he would hit me. Every minute, every hour.”
After a month and two days in jail following his arrest, an NGO bailed him out.
“I tried to bribe my way out of it and members of the [LGBTI] community went to speak with my father…[he] asked them to let me die in [jail],” Femi says.
In 2014 former president Goodluck Jonathan signed a bill which proscribed penalties of 14 years’ jail for same-sex marriage and 10 years’ for same-sex “amorous relationships”.
Days after the hotel arrests, the Lagos State Attorney-General Adeniji Kazeem said the tough stance taken with the men was to help put “a stop to the exploitation of under-aged children” by gay men.

However, 15-year-old Doyin*, who was also arrested says no sex with minors took place. Doyin was in jail for seven days before he was released, but unlike many, he wasn’t fazed by the consequences.
“My parents know I’m gay. This is my lifestyle. This is what I choose and they say I should live my life,” he says.
“A gay is a human being and it’s God that created me like this .
I don’t have feelings for women. I have feelings for men. A gay is a human being [and that’s why I’m bold. I didn’t want my mum to know’
For Tunde*, the consequences were foremost in his mind.
“The police came through and started beating us so I covered my face because I didn’t want my mum to know,” he says.
Bundled into a cell with hardened criminals, Tunde says he was beaten up by another prisoner, called the President, who was instructed by police to extract confessions.
“This is when I had no choice … I said I was gay,” he says.
Along with the other men, Tunde pleaded not guilty to the charge in court, but his picture, name and HIV status were taken by local media and splashed across newspapers around the nation.
“When I came out my mum found out and the people I work with were abusing me saying I’m a girl,” he says.
“My grandma bought the newspaper and said I was not part of their family anymore and that I should leave the house.”
The men return to court on November 22. Lagos activist Peter Kass, whose NGO — Access to Health and Rights Development Initiative — was at the hotel conducting HIV tests for some of the patrons on the night of the arrests, claims gangs used social media to catch unsuspecting gay men out to either beat them up or exhort money from them.
“What people do is ping you or you get chatting and then you talk about hooking up,” he says.
“When you get there you discover the person isn’t even gay and there are six or seven men there … who are just out there to beat up gay men.”

See Corpse of Kogi Civil Servant Who Committed Suicide Hanging On Tree (Photo)

A gory picture of a top civil servant who committed suicide purportedly due to hardship is being circulated on social media.

A social media user, Nana Sule has released the real picture of Edward Soje, the Director of Teaching Service Commission that committed suicide due to alleged hardship caused by Governor Yahaya Bello.
In the suicide note, the late Edward Soje addressed to his wife of 17 years, praying for her and the children who were born after a childless marriage.

He allegedly ended his life barely 10 days after his wife gave birth to a set of triplets in an Abuja hospital.
Many had alleged that he killed himself after being owed 11 months outstanding salary arrears by the Kogi state government. However, a family source said he couldn’t link Soje’s alleged suicide to the 11 months outstanding salary arrears he was being owed by the state government.

I Can't Trade My Sleep For Anything , Even Money - Jide Kosoko

For veteran actor, Jide Kosoko, taking time to sleep is very important and he does not trade it for anything, even money.

Speaking with Sunday Scoop, he said that he ensures he gets at least seven hours of sleep every night and most people close to him know this about him.
He said, “I always sleep for seven hours, or even more. By 9 pm, I am already in bed, and a lot of producers know this about me. If I am to shoot at night, you should have told me earlier so that I would have slept in the afternoon before coming. But I will still sleep after the production. I know the importance of sleep to the human body and I get a lot of it.’
Meanwhile, Kosoko is not happy about the fact that stage plays are not taken seriously in this part of the world. According to him, he tries to contribute his quota to ensure that stage plays do not go into extinction.
“I started my career on the stage. All my colleagues know about stage plays, though the interest of coming back may not be there. But gradually, a lot of them are showing interest. For some time too, I did not act on stage. I was busy shooting films and commercials for money,” he said.

Painful!!! After 5years Of Miscarriage Woman loses Only Son To Arm Robbers

A couple are reeling in agony following the loss of their only child to robbers who hijacked their car on the highway and fled with the baby inside.

Mrs. Judith Agu, 37, is Mada by tribe and hails from Andaha District of Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa State. A 2004 graduate of Economics of the University of Jos, she is married to Thomas Agu, 39, a 2004 graduate of Economics of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. An Eggon by tribe, he hails from Gudi District of the same local government area in the state. The two met at the NYSC orientation camp in Oyo State during the mandatory one-year national youth service and, there, started a relationship that snowballed into marriage in December 2006, following their completion of service. After 10 years of marriage, characterized by miscarriages and delay in childbearing, Judith, a private schoolteacher and businesswoman based in Abuja before she relocated to her husband’s hometown, was, finally delivered of a baby boy, named Emmanuel, on September 20, 2016. But in a strange twist of fate, she lost the baby, last month, to some armed robbers allegedly operating on Akwanga/Kaduna Road.

Losing baby Emmanuel to armed robbers

Judith who was driving along the road in her Toyota car on September 9, 2017, on her way to visit a friend ran into a group of armed robbers, at about 12 noon, who stopped her and ordered her out of the car. She obeyed. But as she did, they entered and zoomed off, with her baby at the back. All her desperate pleas to them to release the baby boy to her fell on deaf ears.

She sobbed, she cried, and, in desperation, threw her hands up in the air. She ran this way and that way. She cried for help but none came her way. There was nobody around to listen to her cry of agony or to do something about it. That was how Judith’s world fell apart and thus began a nightmare she is yet to wake up from, even as you read this. More than a month after the incident the tears are still flowing down her cheeks and only God knows when it will stop.

Marriage under threat from accusation of ritual murder

Getting her to talk about it, to recall what happened, seems like opening afresh the emotional wound she is nursing. “As you see me, I’m dead internally,” she told Saturday Sun, in tears. Her pain stems from the fact that she did not only lose her baby, the joy of her life, the child God gave her to wipe away her tears after many years of waiting, but she is now being accused of knowing something about it, of being an accomplice in the evil deed. According to her, her husband and mother-in-law are accusing her of using the baby boy for ritual. “I am crying,” she said, “because, despite the fact that a gang of wicked robbers took away my only child given to me by God to comfort me after all these years of waiting, my husband who works in Abuja as a sales representative in a pharmaceutical company, has joined his mother to accuse me of using the child for rituals. All my efforts to explain how it happened fell on deaf ear. My husband has asked me to either produce his son or risk losing the marriage.”  With this, she began to cry. “Right now, my husband has driven me out of his house after tagging me a ritualist”, she continued her narration after gaining some measure of self-control from the crying session. “He said that it is not possible for robbers to snatch my car alongside the baby. He said my story is not genuine, but how can I use my only baby for rituals? What do I hope to gain from that kind of deal when my husband is taking good care of me?”

The unending grief and husband’s response

Again, she broke down. You could barely hear her voice as she said: “it is unfortunate this happened to me. I miss my son so much. I love him. It is sheer wickedness to rob me of my joy this way.” Watching her, you too could not help it as tears began to well up in your own eyes. Then she looks away from you and looks into the sky as if she was expecting the next answer to her question to fall from there. She is all wrapped in grief. A grief that will never go away soon! “A one-year old boy, what would they have done with him?,” she asked rhetorically. “Did they shoot him and dump his body in the bush? Did they use him for ritual as I am now being accused?” Then she returned to the question of what happened to the baby. “I wish him well wherever he is but God knows I did not use my son for rituals and only Him can vindicate me. I may have lost my marriage but God will determine my future,” she said as she tried to console herself. If she was willing to speak, not so, Thomas, her husband. The woman is evil, he said, “and her story on the whereabouts of my son and car is unbelievable. She either produces my son or she calls the marriage a quit, thank you.” With that, he cut off the conversation. As far as he was concerned, he was in no mood for any long talk over the matter.

Remembering the past, fearing the future

Though the police is still investigating the case, Judith regrets that her husband is taking side with his mother who she said was in the habit of accusing her of damaging her womb with abortions during her university days before hooking her son in marriage. According to her, her mother-in-law also believes that it was the abortions, something she vehemently denies, that was responsible for the five miscarriages and her inability to conceive. At a point, she even started advising her son to take another wife. But as God would have it, divine justice came Judith’s way when she eventually conceived and was delivered of baby Emmanuel. With the baby now gone is such a tragic circumstance, it is back to square one, in a hazy situation that only God knows the final outcome.

Tragic!! NYSC Corp Member Shot Dead In Imo State [see reason why]

A 2016 graduate from the Imo State University,

Could this be love or stupidity!! JSS 2 student found in her boyfriend’s house!!(Read What happened)

Last month, the guardians of Asmau Ajibade, a Junior Secondary School 2 pupil of Agbara Commuinty Junior Secondary School, Ogun State, declared her missing, seven days after she left home for school without returning home.

The girl lived with the guardians, Alhaji Rauf Adetona and Alhaja Ajarat Adetona, on Area 8, Road 810, Block AM, Plot 18, OPIC Estate, Agbara, off Lagos-Badagry Expressway, Ogun State.
Ajarat said the girl had been living with them since she was four years old, adding that she was surprised by her disappearance. She said it was the first time she would leave home without returning.
However, a report by Punchng, indicates that John, a guard in Igbo Elerin, in the Agbara area of Ogun State, has been picked up by the police for allegedly abducting her. Asmau Ajibade. John was apprehended along with a cobbler, Moses, who lives on Opic Estate, Agbara.
The cobbler reportedly connived with John, who kept the girl in his apartment for several days. The cobbler, who helped the girl to fix her torn sandal that morning, had told the guardians that she appeared to be in a hurry when she came to fix the sandal.
Records of the school also indicated that she was absent on that day. The case was reported at the Agbara Police Division. It was, however, said the girl was found in Oko Afo, Badagry, last Saturday by a family friend of the guardians.
One of the guardians, Alhaji Rauf Adetona, said Ajibade confessed that it was the cobbler who hooked her up with John, adding that she spent four days with the lover.

Redeemers University expels A Student few days to his graduation[Read the shocking Reason]

Actor, Debo Adedayo, popularly known as Mr. Macaroni, few days before his graduation from his University, Redeemers University, got expelled, over a post he made on his Facebook Page.
According to the University, Debo’s Facebook post was offensive and portrayed the university in bad light, an act that constitutes serious misconduct and punishable by expulsion.
A bittered Debo shared on Instagram, his pain;
PLEASE READ:
Most of you would observe that I have been silent about Redeemer’s University lately. For those of you who know about my University life, most of you called me and sent me series of text messages 2 weeks ago asking why I didn’t go for my convocation.. this and that… as it was quite clear that I should have graduated in flying colors.
Well, the management of Redeemer’s University denied me of my joy that day. I had waited so long for that day, and while waiting, I served Redeemer’s University with all my life.
First as Social Director in my 300Level and then as President of both the student association and the graduating class. I ask anyone reading this to call anyone he or she knows in Redeemer’s University including the management that dislikes me so much and ask who Debo Adedayo (Mr Macaroni) is.
Redeemers University expels actor
If they will speak the truth with the fear of God, they will tell you that I served the University with all my life and heart. I can’t plunge into the achievements of my administration in Redeemer’s University because you will get tired. I used everything that God blessed me with to promote Redeemer’s University.
I left Redeemer’s University a debtor. All my life savings was used in paying school fees for other students and making sure students were at least comfortable in the most possible way. Please just ask around.
For me, leadership was and still is service, selflessness and sacrifice through discipline, integrity and accountability to those we as leaders claim to be of service to and by God’s grace in whose name I swear, this was what I stood for.
I wrote my final exams, defended my project and was awaiting convocation when I was summoned by the management of the University saying I posted certain things that put the University in bad light.
Excuse me?
In all my posts, I never mentioned the name of the University nor the name of any of her official. Yet on the 12th of this month, I received a letter of Expulsion for this supposed reason. I have been patient enough with the management of the University.
Redeemers University expels actor
That I wasn’t given the joy to graduate on that day I waited patiently for broke my heart. Yet, I was willing to let that go out of love for my University.
Now look what I have been greeted with. I am trying to understand the reasons behind this action by the mgt of the University.
Could it be because for the first time in history, my administration refused to give the Vice-Chancellor and Director of Student affairs awards on our students appreciation day as we reached the conclusion that they didn’t deserve it?
Or could it be because my administration fought passionately for students rights; food, water, light scarcity? Could it be because I stood for the rights of students when they were falsely accused of defrauding the University….. the list is endless as I am still trying to help the University find a reason for her action.
I can go on and on, but I would simply rest my case for now as my parents have decided to take legal action against the management of the University.
I am bringing this to your attention because of the concern you have all shown and also so that everyone I have advertised Redeemer’s University to can see how exactly I am being paid back for my dedication.
You haven’t heard the last of this. Thank you. P.S: all comments or opinions shared on my page in no way represent my position about the University or anyone in it. Please be advised.
Below is the POST THAT GOT HIM EXPELLED:
This is the reason why I have been expelled from Redeemer’s University after years of passionate service and sacrifice to the University. I didn’t lead a riot as president of the Students Association, I didn’t steal, I didn’t fight, I didn’t break any rules and regulation.
I posted this after a meeting with Prof Wande Abimbola. The school mgt invited me for an ‘interaction’ and right there, I was told that the school mgt feels that this post is about them.
I repeated times without number that the post is simply an expression on issues of life and has nothing to do with Reedemer’s University. They however wanted me to admit by all means necessary that I was referring to the mgt of Redeemer’s University which I refused to.
I was asked to Go and weeks later I was denied the joy of attending my own Convocation. Now, I am greeted with a letter of expulsion for this post that I insist wasn’t for Reedemer’s University or anyone in it.

imagine.....Women In Court For Selling Baby For N605,000 (See Details)

A Minna Chief Magistrates’ Court has granted bail to a housewife, Eucharia Mba, who was earlier apprehended by the police for allegedly selling her four-month-old baby for N605,000.
Mba was arrested alongside Bright Ahuruezeanya of Chanchaga area of Minna and one Peter Ani.
The defendants are facing three counts bordering on criminal conspiracy, buying and selling of a minor.
The offence contravened sections 79 and 278 of the Penal Code Law.
According to the police First Information Report, one Mr. John of Mechanic Junction in Chanchaga, had sometime in September, 2017 reported to the police that Amaka Bright of the same address with Bright Ahuruezeanya conspired with his wife Eucharia and sold his four-month-old baby boy.
It was alleged that Eucharia and the other two accused persons left for Enugu State where they sold the baby to one Mr. Ani for N605,000.
The suspects, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges when the case came up for mention.
The presiding chief magistrate, Hassan Mohammed, ordered the remand of the two men involved in the matter and granted bail to the two women on health grounds.
The magistrate said, “The court will grant bail to the two accused women because one is eight months pregnant while the other one is nursing a four-month-old baby. It will be unjust to expose them to health hazard and it would be unfair to the innocent four months old baby and the one yet to be born.”
The magistrate later granted the two men bail in the sum of N500,000 each with a surety who must be resident within Minna, the Niger state Capital.
“They should also produce two recent passports as well as their national identification card,” the magistrate added.
The case was adjoined till October 18, 2017.

How To Avoid breast cancer

Breast Cancer has been rampant in recent times with female folks being affected... this has called for an awareness campaign to orientate female folks.

File Photo

With the increase in Breast Cancer rates in recent times, the focus now is what can be done to wipe out Breast cancer completely.

The Question is "What can a woman do to reduce the risk of developing breast cancer". It is clear now that women should be brought up to date on the latest scientific findings concerning the reduction of breast cancer risk.

The most encouraging discovery is the power of Naturally occurring substances in fruits and vegetables and grains to promote good health and prevent disease. Research scientists have concluded that dietary factors could play a role in as many as 70% of all cancers and 35-70% of all cancers can be prevented by a healthy diet.

The key to breast cancer prevention lies in minimizing as many of the individual risk factors as possible as a slight reduction in risk can save thousands of lives over time.

These changes includes Dietary change, lifestyle changes and living clean > preventing contact with synthetic chemicals as much as possible. These synthetic chemicals are usually oxidants that cause damage to body cells and the genetic material in cells. Chemicals used in the preservation of over processed foods, cosmetics and body products.

The scientific search for ways to prevent cancer is the focus of a new medical research discipline called preventive oncology. Oncology is the branch that deals with cancer and treatment. Preventive Oncology refers to cancer and its prevention, It seeks for ways of preventing the development of a malignant tumour.
Before, most of the concerns about reducing breast cancer has been focused on secondary prevention, in which the the tumour is detected in time using self examination, mammography and biopsies but these secondary measures do not prevent cancer.
Primary prevention stops the processes that can lead to the formation of cancerous breast cells in the first place. The goal then is to provide you with information necessary to create your own primary breast cancer prevention.

1. Dietary Changes - Available statistics has shown that a large percentage of people eat a lot of fats and carbohydrates, little protein and very little fruits and vegetables and on top of that laden themselves with a host of synthetic chemicals in Body products and over processed foods> this disrupts and alters cell function.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has said that we need to eat the highest amounts of fruits and vegetables and whole grains followed by proteins and less of fats and carbohydrates.

Phytochemicals are a plant's natural pharmacy and these plants contains a host of vitamins and minerals that can help us fight disease and prevent cancer. Fruits and vegetables with whole grains contains a lot of Vit C and B, Low calorie density, high natural fibre and antioxidants.
Snack food, fast foods and high fats in foods are unhealthy as they produce lipid peroxides that destroy anti-oxidants.

Aim to eat 5-servings of different fruits and vegetables each day with whole grains. These foods includes Carotene rich, deep green and deep yellow vegetables and Cruciferous vegetables (Cabbage) which contains indole3-carbinol.

Soybeans which contains Isoflavones and high in fiber. Carrot, parsley and a host of others.

2. Exercise Regularly- Aerobic Exercise is believed to reduce the risk of Breast cancer. It has to be performed on a regular Basis at least 30minutes, 3 times a week. It also reduces the risk of other tumors.

3. Make lifestyle changes like prevention of smoking, reduction of Alcohol intake and adopt organic living.

4. Prevent synthetic chemicals as much as possible. You are responsible for what you put on your body. For Cosmetics and body products >check the contents before you buy. In this case less is better. For example I would prefer a body cream that contains Shea Butter, coconut oil and honey to that which contains Titanium dioxide, stearic acid, cetearyl alcohol, isopropyl myristate, methyl &propyl paraben, tocopheryl acetate and whole what nots!

5. Breast self examination is also important.

These changes are directly under your control so go ahead and adopt these changes and you are sure to live a fulfilling and happy life.

Five people were feared dead while scores sustained serious injuries on Saturday following a stampede at the entrance of Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital.

The incident occurred while football enthusiasts tried to enter the stadium. The fans, who were at the stadium to watch a match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Chipolopolo of Zambia  were allegedly beaten  by soldiers at the gates of the stadium with heavy sticks.

The stampede occured as the crowd tried to avoid the soldiers’ sticks. The bloodstains were around the gate of the stadium.

Policemen and personnel of the Federal Road Safety Corps were seen standing beside some unconscious fans.

Our correspondent, who lost N10,000 in the stampede, was also assaulted by one of the soldiers with a big stick.

Some of the fans who spoke with our correspondent and vowed never to go to the stadium again, said they escaped death by the whiskers.

A female fan, Aniema Ekong, told SUNDAY PUNCH, “I thank God that I’m alive. This is not the first time this kind of incident had occurred. In fact, in every major tournament, there is always a tale of woes to tell about security agents injuring or killing people.

Another fan who identified himself as Chukwudi, said his girlfriend was severely injured by the security personnel manning the gate.

He said, “I don’t know why there is always trouble in this stadium.”

Ambulances were seen conveying injured persons to the hospital. The state Police Public Relations Officer, Elkana Bala, initially told a correspondent that he would find out what actually caused the stampede.

He later sent a text message to refute the claim that people died at the stadium.

“It is confirmed that nobody died. But some persons were injured while struggling to gain access into the stadium. The injured persons were taken to hospital for medical attention,” Bala said.

The Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Charles Udoh, also said he would call his counterpart in the ministry of Health to find out what happened.
